Drummer/songsmith Jon Hollins’ debut album ‘Line In’ features thirteen tracks ranging from the indie-rock 'Days Of Wonder' to the haunting acoustic lilt of ‘Dark Sister’ to the full-on progressiveness of ‘Buttress Gala’ with many rhythms, moods and flavours in between. The album is harder edged than recent solo recordings with rock, folk, indie and electronic influences culminating in a selection of songs that work well together, some old, some new.
LINE IN - MUSICIANS
‘Line In’ features longtime collaborators Andy Penney on bass, Matt Pawson and Biff Biohazard on electric guitars as well as guest spots from vocalist Hannah Nicholson. Other musicians include Damian Lyons and Dan Thomas on guitar, Vicky Martin on flute and Ian Lunn on violin.
'Line In' is available June 2008 digitally from stores such as iTunes, Rhapsody, Napster, emusic, GroupieTunes, Amazon MP3 and Lala and physically from this site, CDbaby and Amazon.com. A grassroots and internet campaign is supporting the release.
